Calling
the Competition on the Carpet
What
makes Magic Carpet® the best conveyor lift for the winter sports
industry?
The
most rugged and best performing product, the most experience making
it, and the most responsiveness to customers after the sale. All
prices very competitive. But don't take our word for it. Talk to
our customer. Then, talk to or competitiors-and be sure to ask how
many of their "innovations" resulted from copying us.
Why
pay more for a conveyor lift than other surface lifts such as rope
tows?
Quick
return on investment, offering the highest capacity when compared
to alternate surface lifts. The onveyor allows for higher skier
densities in the Ski School without affecting lesson quality. Fewer
instructors are required, while still prividing a quality learning
experience. This user-friendly design is also extremely safe for
riders and operators. Talk to the kids and other novice skiers,
especially those who have used other types of surface lifts...as
well as the ski instructors.
What
does Magic Carpet® do to earn its "Buy the Original. But
the Best" designation?
We
designed, built and installed the first conveyor ski lift in 1990.
Since then, we have continued to listen to our customers, then improve
our products based on their ideas and insights. Being the first
doesn't mean much today if you don't continue innovating to be the
best.
Without
compromising the inherent strength and performance of our original
design, Magic Carpet has improved safety, manufacturing techniquies,
ease of installation and our electrical design so that the costs
have actually decreased in both the initial purchase price and the
installation costs.
What
happened to your original Magic Carpet® lift that required a
concrete foundation?
We
offer it, but our customers said they wanted a less expensive surface
lift that was easier and faster to install and relocate. We listened,
and regeared our efforts accordingly. Today's foundation-less design
can be installed in 1-3 days depending on length, and it can be
easily stored off-season. It's also terrain-following.
Will
you phase out the original product?
No.
There will always be challenges requiring concrete foundations to
satisyfy uniquie placement criteria. Our experience and expertise
with the original Magic Carpet®
will enable us to meet these needs, possibly combining our original
Magic Carpet with the Boardwalk product.
